Doug Chaffins

CPA

After practicing 35 years in Marietta, Doug joined Fricke and Associates, LLC in December 2021. His practice focuses on closely-held businesses and individual income taxes. Doug was named a Top 100 Wealth Advisor by Atlanta Magazine. He was honored to receive the Visionary Philanthropist Award for Cobb County for his work in the community and being recognized by his CPA colleagues in receiving the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants Public Service Award.

Doug graduated from West Virginia University. He attends Trinity Presbyterian Church where he serves as an Elder. His previous involvements include being appointed to the Cobb Commission of Children & Youth where he served as Chairman, The Center for Family Resources where he served as Chairman for 3 years, Leadership Cobb, Honorary Commanders, and the Marietta Kiwanis Club.

Doug’s hobbies include walking, playing Bridge, traveling, gourmet cooking, and fine wine. Doug and his wife of 41 years, Carolyn, have two children and two grandchildren.
